ALEX NAJJAR
Alex is a fourth-year medical student, and he is returning for his third year in the Carnaval de Salud now as one of the event Co-Directors. He’s been in the Dallas area his entire life and graduated from UT Dallas in 2021. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, gardening, spending time with friends and family, and taking an hour to find something to watch on Netflix. He’s so excited to be back at the Carnival de Salud!
ASHLEY SMITH
Ashley is a fourth-year medical student, returning for her third year in leadership with United to Serve. She is extremely honored to be able to serve as one of four Co-Directors this year. She is originally from League City, TX and graduated from TCU- Go Frogs! In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball, walking the Katy Trail with friends, and all things television. She’s ecstatic to be a part of the Carnival de Salud 2025!
KENDRA STEPHEN
Hi! My name is Kendra Stephen and I am a 4th year medical student at UTSW applying into otolaryngology this year. Prior to medical school, I graduated with a nursing degree from UT-Arlington. I enjoy a good extreme interval exercise class and spending time with family/friends. I am thrilled to return as one of the UTS Directors for this year and look forward to bringing everyone together through this event.
NINA STEPHEN
Hello Everyone! My name is Nina Stephen, and I am a 4th year medical student applying to ENT. I am originally from Abuja, Nigeria and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing before starting my medical school at UT Southwestern. I love planning events and enjoy a great playlist. I am excited to serve you all with UTS for the 3rd time but this time I am one of your Directors!! I am excited for you all to come and have an amazing time at the health fair. It will be a memorable experience ☺
