Hi everyone! I’m Sarah Yuen, a 4th year medical student here at UT Southwestern. I was born in Plano, TX, but grew up in Phoenix, AZ. I came back to Texas for undergrad, attending Baylor University (sic ‘em!). I’ve been a part of United to Serve’s Carnaval de Salud all four years of medical school, serving on the Volunteer Committee. But I am excited to return this final year as one of the Co-Directors of United to Serve, and make this the best year we’ve seen yet!!
Collin is a 4th year medical student at UT Southwestern Medical School. He grew up in small town Texas before coming to the big city for medical school. He is a step-dad to a cat named Tinkerbell. In his spare time he enjoys watching sports and hanging out with his 2-year-old niece. He can’t wait to serve as co-director of Carnaval de Salud and help make this year the best one yet.
Jennie Gueler is a fourth year student in the medicine/public health combined program (MD/MPH) at UT Southwestern. She is originally from Houston, TX and graduated from Rice University before briefly moving to London to complete a Masters degree in mental health. She is applying to residency in General Surgery and hopes to be a trauma and burn surgeon. She is thrilled to be a Director of United to Serve after serving as the Public Relations Chair for the last 3 years! In her free time, she likes to drink coffee, play with puppies, ride roller coasters, and marathon television series on Netflix.
Hi! I’m Shannon and I’m a 4th year medical student. I am currently applying to Pediatrics. In my free time, I enjoy running on Katy Trail and cooking with my fiance. I have been involved with United to Serve since my first year, I am so excited this year to be one of the directors this year.
